Applications for the dream job are now closed.

Applications are now being reviewed. Thank you to everyone who applied. We'll be announcing who the Chief Exploration Officer will be on our social media channels, so make sure you're following us for the announcement!

For most of us, the only vacations we’ve gone on over the past two years have been extreme staycations. As-in “stay in town”, “stay in bed”, and “stay in pajamas”.

The most exotic places we’ve visited were the backgrounds of our coworker’s zoom calls, and Tiger King’s Oklahoma Zoo (from the safety of our sofas, of course.)

Unfortunately, 42% of Americans say they've had to cancel planned trips or vacations due to rising costs, such as gas.

KURU Footwear knows that you’re longing for an adventure. To walk a path you’ve never walked before to somewhere you’ve never been before. To eat food that didn’t come from the back of your fridge, and to make memories. That’s why KURU Footwear and Explore Worldwide are partnering together to hire a modern-day CEO (Chief Exploration Officer) and paying them $1,000 to go on a blind date with their next adventure!

Yes, you heard that right, a blind date. Why are we calling it a blind date? Because you won't find out where you're going until after you're selected for the opportunity. (Don't worry, you'll get details about your dream destination before packing your bags).

Plus, the details of your trip will be handled by the team at Explore Worldwide. All you have to do is enjoy the adventure.

You may end up walking the Adriatic coast, exploring an ancient city, or hiking a scenic trailhead.

How Does The Dream Job Work?

If you’re interested in the dream job, fill out the application form here!

We will ask you a series of questions about the places you’ve always wanted to see, and the adventures you’ve daydreamed about.

Based on these responses, we’ll set our new CEO (Chief Exploration Officer) up on a blind date on their next adventure alongside our friends at Explore Worldwide. Rest assured, it will be an unforgettable experience and definitely the best temp job you’ll ever have.

We’ll work with our CEO to select the best dates for their adventure, handle all of the paperwork on their behalf, and give them a heads-up about what they should pack for their adventure. (After all, we wouldn’t want you bringing a winter coat to the beach!)
