Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't stand up to use I bought in April. Initially they felt and looked great but four months later they're shredded inside, fraying and pilled on the outside, and saggy on the whole. I have to rate all features very low because lasting for such a brief time does not count as acceptable performance by any standard. I don't recommend these to say the least. Luckily the warranty was honored.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like a sporty pair of Mary Janes... This is my seventh pair of KURU shoes. Without them it would be difficult and painful to get around with heal pain. The Lucy (JetBlack-Mist Gray) is like a sporty pair of Mary Janes. They are perfect with jeans, sitting at a desk all day, walking, and they are comfy/cozy right out of the box. With these Lucys, and all of my Kurus, I am able to work and take part in what is going on in my life without even thinking about heal pain when they are on. Great find and this Lucy pair is so light in weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful shoes I bought a pair of these shoes at the last minute for a trip to Italy. They were so comfortable and I ended up wearing almost the entire trip. Great for all terrain from cities to hiking the Cinque Terre trails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute comfortable arch support I'm so pleased to have a comfortable pair of Mary Janes that I can wear with skirts and capris at work. The strap is just a bit loose, so I hope that the next iteration can be adjusted, so that I can tighten it. Nevertheless, Lucy gets my fallen arches through my work day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Comfortabe First time I have written a review for any shoe and I am pleased to say I do enjoy wearing my new Lucy Slip-ons. . They feel better each time I wear them. I also got 2 pair of sandals and those are great too. So I am a very happy lady. I have plantar facitis and these shoes take the pain away. I wish some of the other shoes had soles that were not the bright white, I'd buy more colors if the soles were dark.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I have plantar fasciitis and a heel spur and been wearing KURU shoes for about a year now. So far this is more comfortable than the Ellie that I returned. I have the black one but I wish they have it in Dusty Lilac too. I walked several miles on it and didn't have any foot pain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Walked 56 in these on a recent trip!! I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis for 10 months. I went to a running store near me and bought an expensive pair of tennis shoes that were supposedly good for plantar fasciitis, but never got any lasting relief from them. In fact, I tried buying different insoles to help with no luck. Since I had been researching plantar fasciitis I had seen many ads online for the KURU brand, but didn't have any experience with them or knew anyone who had. Fast forward to this spring when I noticed an acquaintance of mine wearing a pair of Kuru's. I recognized the logo so I asked her about them. She gave a glowing report of how much her Kuru's had helped her with her foot pain. I had a big trip coming up where I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking so I called a KURU guru and asked my questions before ordering my first pair. I decided on the Teal Haze/Dusk Blue Lucy's. I did what the KURU guru told me to and wore them inside for a couple weeks to make sure they were a good fit before I wore them outside. I only got one good walk in them outside before I had to leave on my trip. I walked 56 miles total in my new Lucy's while on my trip! They held up wonderfully and greatly helped alleviate my plantar fasciitis pain. In fact, my feet felt much better than they have in the past 10 months. I knew while I was on the trip that I needed to order another pair. While the Lucy's held up well and were a great shoe for me I wish I had had another pair with me since much of the walking was on uneven and rocky terrain. However, I can't complain because the Lucy's were awesome and never gave me any problems. For those who are interested in what socks to wear with these...I bought 2 pairs of SmartWool Secret Sleuth socks and washed them out at night while on my trip. They worked GREAT with these shoes. I also tried some cotton blend no show socks and they didn't even come close to how the SmartWool socks performed. Hope this review helps someone with foot/heel pain doing research on shoes just like I did! Thank you, KURU!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from On the fence about this one I bought Lucy in all black (vs the options with white "sidewalls") to wear as an alternative to sandals. I think these look great with all types of casual skirts, capris, jeans etc. One issue is that it's hard to find socks that don't ruin the look, unless you want to go sockless in them. I have a high instep and take a size 10.5-11, so with the elastic strap, I went with 11. The shoes are a bit floppy width-wise in the toe box. The elastic feels okay, maybe just slightly too tight as feet swell, so I know stepping down to 10.5 would be too small. I'd also like to state that I don't feel the support in these as much as in other Kurus, so that might limit how often I wear these. All Kurus eliminate my plantar fasciitis pain, but certain styles (if worn two days in a row or longer) will allow my knee pain to return, and I think these will be a one-day-only style for me.

Does Lucy have a wide toe box ?
Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for contacting KURU Footwear! The LUCY does not have a wide toe box but you would still have enough room for your toes. The toe box on the LUCY has more of a snug/secure fit. We can always give them a shot and see how they work out! Please keep in mind that we do offer free shipping, exchanges, and returns. With that being said, you can always order a pair to try them on and if you get the wrong size or if it doesn't work out for you, you can return them to us free of charge within 45 days of purchase. They need to be in new condition to get full refund or exchange.
