Women's Shoes for Hammer Toes

Great, great, great!

"Super quality and oh, so comfy! I have hammer toes, plantar fasciitis and a bum ankle. Usually I am in agony after standing on a cement floor all day at work. If it's not the heel pain, I'd be in distress over my poor toes being rubbed raw from the top of the shoe. I've tried every 'good' shoe in the book and have been disappointed by their performance over time. This is a well made, roomy, comfortable shoe that is true to size and actually delivers what is promised. My new 'go to' shoe is officially Kuru!"

The best women's shoes for hammer toes give your body the space it needs to heal. Hammertoe is a deformity in the middle joint of your toe, which can be caused by wearing high heels or narrow shoes. Mallet toe is similar but involves the joint closet to your toenail. The shape of your foot, certain diseases (like diabetes) and other factors can contribute to these deformities.

The muscles, tendons and ligaments that hold your toe straight become unbalanced over time, causing an abnormal bend in the joint. That joint often pushes against narrow shoes, which can lead to painful corns or calluses.

Women are much more likely to get hammertoe than men, and finding the right shoe for hammertoe starts with a generous toe box to avoid painful friction. The ample space also helps your body get back into realignment.

All of our shoes feature our patented KURUSOLE technology and built-in ULTIMATE INSOLES to ensure a comfortable fit for your entire foot, but our GURUs recommend these styles specifically for hammertoe relief.
