I’ve spent a fair amount of time wearing the Halcyons around town, as well as a bit on light trails. Kuru has designed a fantastic product that has more than exceeded my expectations for both style and functionality. This hybrid shoe looks great with jeans and a t-shirt, or it can hold its own with a pair of chinos, a button down, and nice coat.

My brother bought me these as a gift and they have been the best pair of shoes. True to their name, my flat feet have gotten comfort and bliss without sacrificing the much needed support. They are weather durable too; I've jumped in every rain puddle and snow bank that's crossed my path and they've kept me dry and warm. A great pick for the trails or around town.

I just spent ten days tramping through (extremely wet) Irish countryside in the Halcyon shoes, and they were absolutely terrific -- comfortable all day long, great traction and support for uneven terrain, perfectly wet/weatherproof, and good looking enough to wear anywhere. An excellent travel shoe!

I'm a new owner of Kuru shoes. They are very cute and more comfortable than any other casual shoe I've ever owned. I got these shoes at just the right time. I completed my first marathon, after which my feet hurt worse than I knew they could! My Kuru's are the ONLY shoes I've been able to put my feet in and for that I'm very grateful for such wonderful shoes.

i have never put on shoes straight out of the box and been able to walk comfortably without my custom made orthotics installed. at least that statement was true unitl i received my kuru shoes! i wore the shoes all day long and i could not believe my feet didn't hurt. i have been battling plantar fascitIis for 2 years now, and even tennis shoes hurt my feet. i found this shoe by accident, but it was a lucky day for me! these are the most comfortable shoes i have ever worn. they are very supportive and fit like a glove. (i also got many compliments on their cuteness.) i would highly recommend them to anyone who has problem feet. i am a physical education teacher and i am on my feet all day long...yesterday was the first time in many, many months i didn't experience foot pain. THANK YOU KURU SHOES!

It took a few months of wearing my Halcyons daily for the pain of plantar fasciitis to go away completely. Other shoes still cause the pain to flare-up which is why I'm shopping for more Kuru.

After some research I purchased the shoes because I am battling plantar fasciitis and I have a trip planned soon where I will be walking a lot so I need a comfortable shoe. Since receiving them I have been wearing them almost non stop. I walked for 3 hours at the fair and wore them to my 1 hour work out class. Hands down the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. I can feel the support in the heel, which is very important during my work outs. I generally purchase tennis shoes one size bigger and I usually wear a 7 so I purchased an 8. A perfect fit!
