Comfortable shoes for standing all day should feature a wide toe box, shock-absorbing cushioned footbed, and high-quality arch support—just like KURU’s line of footwear!
It’s possible to wear them, and they are better than flat shoes with no support! That said, running shoes are usually built to have extra shock-absorption at landing points in the heel and forefoot—something you don’t need for simply standing or walking all day.

For lasting comfort and pain relief when standing for long hours, we recommend a shoe with evenly spread cushion, high-quality arch support, and whole-foot shock absorption.
Due to the anatomical shape of theKURUSOLE, custom orthotics with a rounded heel fit best inside our shoes. If the
underside of the custom orthotic (the part that sits on the footbed) is squared off, then it may not fit into our deep heel cup—which is rounded like your foot.

That said, many of our customers tell us our three-part technology offers better support and stability than they expected, and that they don't need to wear their custom orthotics with KURU shoes.
