Lida - Women's Lace up

Description

Modern style meets modern design. For the LIDA, we took everything loved about our SAVINA — the feather light, slim, feminine design, and the familiar KURUSOLE™ — and added a few special additions. With laces, you get a confident, casual look and a more secure feel. Its unique rubber outsole pod design gives it excellent durability and reliable traction in a feather-light shoe. And with a slimmer design, it may feel more snug out of the box, but fits like a dream once it breaks in. The LIDA is built for everyday wear, without an everyday look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these shoes!! I have plantars fasciitis and this is the best shoe I have found so far. Even on a bad day, I can still walk around without excruciating pain. Great sole, arch support and foot support. I wish they made these in black and some other colors. I would buy every color. Also would love to see one with a solid material for wet days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable shoe I have ever had on my feet Lida laser is my preferred style, been wearing for almost a year, 40 hrs per week, walking miles on vacay, and have even ran in these for two miles on occasion!!! For me these are an energy saver. I have sore heels and Morton neuroma and my feet are no longer a thought . I typically wear 8, 8.5 in narrow and in this shoe I buy 9, toe is 1/2 inch she of tip,. Perfect. I would say they run at least 1/2 smaller maybe more . I bought diff style before that were good but this style is great...for me!! Everyone's different though

Rated 3 out of 5 by from comfortable but didn't last I got these shoes last Spring. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I didn't wear them over the Summer and the sole has completely fallen apart on them, and I have only worn them maybe 5 months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy So soft, so comfy. Looks good too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointing soles The SOLE of these Lida shoes is terrible. Too much bare foam, not covered in any rubber. As feared, it started wearing immediately and within months, got holes in the bottom of both shoes. I got these in full leather so that I could wear them on rainy days, but that became impossible, with holes in the soles. I won't be buying them again and can't recommend them to anyone

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with my pair of Lida shoes. I have gotten a lot of relief from my heel pain and am pleased with my Lida shoes. I wear an 8 and ordered the 8.5 and they fit nicely.

Are these more of a grey/brown then tan/brown?
Asked by: Cassie B.
Great question, these LIDA shoes are more of a tan/brown color! They would not look grey. We can always order a pair to see how they work out! Please keep in mind that we do offer free shipping, exchanges, and returns. With that being said, you can always order a pair to try them on and if you get the wrong size or if it doesn't work out for you, you can return them to us free of charge within 45 days of purchase. They need to be in new condition to get full refund or exchange.

Searching for steel toes shoes and search engine keeps showing these as an option. Are the steel toed? Need something for help with my plantar fasciitis but can't find anything to comply with work required steel toes. Thanks
Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for contacting KURU Footwear! These LIDA shoes are not steel toed shoes. Unfortunately, we do not offer any sort of steel toe style at the moment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you! Many people have been requesting steel toe boots/shoes so it may be a potential offering in the future. I will forward your message to our product team as feedback!

my toebox is wide (not extreme), but I would like to know if this would be a good fit. One foot has PF and the other has Morton's neuroma. If you have other suggestions, please let me know. Thank you for your time.
Asked by: Anonymous
Gwen- Thank you for contacting KURU Footwear! The LIDA would be a good fit but it does not have a big toe box, so it may or may not be too small. As an alternative, I would recommend checking out the QUANTUM shoe style. The QUANTUM has a wider and broader toe box compared to the rest of our shoes. We can always try out one of the two and see how it works out. Please keep in mind that we do offer free shipping, exchanges and returns. With that being said, you can always order a pair to try them on and if it doesn't work out for you, you can return them to us free of charge within 45 days of purchase. They need to be in new condition to get full refund or exchange. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to call a KURU GURU toll-free at 877-211-5878. We are available Monday through Friday, from 7am-5pm MST. Thank you again for contacting KURU Footwear and I hope you have a wonderful day!

1. What is the weight of Lida shoes for size 8.5? I need a lighter shoes for my walk which require 8 to 9 hours standing and walking. 2. Can you recommend this shoes for those who have plantar fasciitis problem?
Asked by: Anonymous
Zeny- Thank you for contacting KURU Footwear! The weight of the LIDA shoe style in a size 8.5 is approximately 9 ounces. The weight of the KURU shoe may vary depending on the size but there is really little to no difference. When it comes to plantar fasciitis, all of our KURU shoes include the same supportive technology so any of our KURU shoes would be able to help with plantar fasciitis. It all just depends on the style that you are looking for. Please keep in mind that we do offer free shipping, exchanges and returns. With that being said, you can always order a pair to try them on and if it doesn't work out for you, you can return them to us free of charge within 45 days of purchase. Janette- Thank you for contacting KURU Footwear! The height of the heel on this LIDA and on the majority of our KURU shoes is approximately 1 inch. Unfortunately we do not have exact specs or measurements. Please keep in mind that we do offer free shipping, exchanges and returns. Can someone tell me more about the laces? They do not appear to be the type you tie. If not, can they be loosened or tightened? I am currently wearing an aircast and need to have some flexibility in the tightness of the shoe. Thank you.
Asked by: Anonymous
Maureen- Thank you for contacting KURU Footwear! This LIDA shoe style is definitely a tie-on shoe that can be tightened or loosened. It uses normal laces and does not have any sort of Velcro or bungee laces. The slip-on alternative of this shoe is the SAVINA. Please keep in mind that we do offer free shipping, exchanges and returns. With that being said, you can always order a pair to try them on and if it doesn't work out for you, you can return them to us free of charge within 45 days of purchase. What is the heel height? Do you have a store in New York City.? My left foot is shorter than the right foot but a 10 M fits me well. Do I need to go 1/2 size larger in this style? Would appreciate your response.
Asked by: noco
Noco- Thank you for contacting KURU Footwear! We appreciate your interest in our shoes. The heel height for this LIDA is approximately 1 inch. We definitely recommend going up a half size larger in this style since it runs a half size smaller, so if you wear a size 10 then we recommend ordering a size 10.5. As for stores or retail locations, we are currently focused on selling our shoes exclusively online via our website and are not in any retail locations or outlets. We do apologize for the inconvenience but the only location that we have available for walk-ins is our Salt Lake City location at 4416 S Century Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84123. Is the footbed removable? I need to use my custom orthotics.
Asked by: Monica S.
The insoles in these LIDA shoes are definitely removable and can accommodate custom orthotics/insoles. Due to the anatomical shape of the KURUSOLE heel cup, custom orthotics with a rounded heel fit best into the shoe. If the custom orthotic is squared off on the underside, then it may not fit very well into our deep heel cup since the heel of our shoes is rounded like your foot. Most customers have found that the KURUSOLE midsole is stable and comfortable enough that they don't need to wear their custom orthotics.
