Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit Snug, Warm In Michigan Winters These are a very snug Woman's 12. Heel goes all the way to the back so if it were an option to order up a size I would. Since I plan to wear barefoot, not a big issue. Anything but thin socks would be a no go. Had none of the top of the foot issues people mentioned. They are heavier to wear than my Kivi's but it helps me to take mindful steps. Interested in seeing how they wear over time. If there was a full, easily washable upper I would order in several colors. As it is I worry about the durability of the mesh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for in and out use These house shoes are perfect for use in and out. We do not use shoes in our house. So when I got home I still had problems in my home with heal pain. These solved that problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best house shoe I have had mine for 9 months and I love them. I wanted a shoe that would hold up and continue to give great support. Mine have. I did need to order up 1 size so I could slip my feet into them easily with or without socks. I found they were a little short and did not fit comfortably in the heel area with it’s low back and felt I was walking over the end of it a bit. I like them so much I ordered a second pair in FigPurple. My shoes look like new still and they have the same great comfort as day one. I wear them every day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blissful comfort! I bought these shoes as strictly a house shoe and I LOVE them! I told my boyfriend that they're my favorite purchase of 2018 :-) I have tendon issues in my left foot and these shoes help give me the support when I'm up and about, cooking or standing for longer periods of time. I'm contemplating getting another pair just for the office!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Major heel slippage While these are super cute and very comfy to stand in the heel slippage when walking is very disconcerting. Not sure yet if I’ll keep them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy feet at last! These shoes saved my feet. I've been suffering from peripheral neuropathy and plantar fasciitis --> pain over the entire sole of my foot. 3 steroid shots and ice helped, but I still didn't have any shoes to wear. These shoes have allowed my feet to heal and rest up. (I have them in Fig - handsome) THANK YOU KURU!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wanted to love These shoes were true to size and so comfortable when I first put them on and I wanted to love them. Unfortunately they would not stay on my feet without constantly curling my toes to keep my heel from slipping out over the back edge of the shoe. I had to send them back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely uncomfortable I loved my Carrerras so I bought these slippers thinking I would love them, too. I don't. I could only we're them a few minutes until my arches we're killing me.

Two Questions about the Draft: 1. Which stretches out more over time - the mesh or the knitted material? 2. How are these supposed to fit in the back? Every step I take my heel slips out. I'm trying to figure out if the shoe is too short or too long?

Asked by: CB08
Great questions! Neither the mesh or knitted materials in our DRAFT shoe style should stretch. After breaking them it is normal for them to feel a little looser than how they originally were but the material should not stretch out. As for the back, the back heel area should fit snug. If your heel is slipping in and out, that may be a sign that your shoes are too big. I hope this information was helpful!

How do you wash the Draft?
Asked by: Harriette W.
Harriette- Thank you for contacting KURU Footwear. Because we use better, high-performance materials in our shoes, it's important to properly care for them to extend the life of the shoes. Following are the care instructions for KURU Shoes: Always keep your shoes free of moisture and store them in a dry, cool environment, free of direct light or sun. If you need to clean your shoes, we recommend a shoe cleaning gel that is suitable for both fabric and leathers. Always remember to spot-test the cleaner as sometimes it can alter the color of the materials. You can also clean your shoes with a moist (with water), lint free cloth and/or a soft bristled brush. *We do not recommend washing the shoes in a washing machine. When cleaning mud or other debris, allow the mud to fully dry, then with a soft bristled brush, lightly remove the dirt. Never put your shoes in a washer or dryer. Always allow your shoes to air dry. If your shoes get wet, make sure to remove sockliner insole to make sure the interior of the shoe fully dries. To improve the stain and water resistance of KURU shoes, we recommend using our high-grade shoe protector spray that works on both leather and footwear textiles. The exclusive KURU Shield Shoe Protector is optimized to keep your shoes protected from water, stains and other chemicals and oils. http://www.kurufootwear.com/kuru-shield-shoe-protector-spray.html **Any damage due to failing to follow the above care instructions will void the warranty against defects on the shoe. I think my true size is 8.5, but because of a wide toe area (I have a neurons as well as plantar fasciitis) I often purchase size 9. Some reviews speak of the house shoe as being too narrow. What do you advise as far as sizing for me? It is important that my toes are able to spread out and not be scrunched in.
Asked by: Anonymous
Tricia- Thank you for contacting KURU Footwear! The DRAFT shoe style definitely runs true to size so if you normally purchase a size 9, then we would recommend ordering a size 9 in KURU. Either way, please keep in mind that we do offer free shipping, exchanges and returns. With that being said, you can always order a pair to try them on and if it doesn't work out for you, you can return them to us free of charge within 45 days of purchase. I wear a custom insole. Is that something I will need with this shoe?
Asked by: Kasey
Not at all. Most customers have found that the KURUSOLE midsole is stable and comfortable enough that they don't need to wear their custom orthotics. It would be up to you and what you feel is better.

Does this shoe have a large toe box? I take size 10 but always have to buy 11, had numerous toe surgeries and need room in the toe area. Thanks.
Asked by: Dotty
Dotty- Thank you for contacting KURU Footwear! The DRAFT shoe style does have plenty of toe box space but if you are looking for a large toe box, I would highly suggest checking out the QUANTUM shoe style. The QUANTUM has a wider and broader toe box compared to the rest of our shoes. We can always try either of them and see how they work out. Please keep in mind that we do offer free shipping, exchanges and returns. With that being said, you can always order a pair to try them on and if it doesn't work out for you, you can return them to us free of charge within 45 days of purchase. What product are the arches made from. I'm looking for comfort and i have plantar fasciitis. I bought a pair of Vionics and it's like walking on concrete. I'm looking for another brand.

Doris- Thank you for contacting KURU Footwear! We appreciate your interest in our shoes.
