How do I know which shoe to buy? Which is best for me?

KURU Shoes offer a revolutionary technology that has transformed the lives of thousands. By offering unprecedented support, KURU promises comfort that surpasses every shoe you've ever worn.

Since all of our shoes include this amazing technology, you can have the confidence that you will be getting the support and comfort you need, regardless of which style you purchase.

LACE-ON VS. SLIP-ON?

Every one of our shoes provides the same revolutionary support with our anatomically shaped and patented KURUSOLE™ with HEELHUGR™ technology. Going with a lace-up also provides added support around the ankle and heel. If your lifestyle includes being active, doing a lot of walking, spending a lot of time on your feet, or being outdoors, then a style with shoelaces would be best.

If you want a shoe that's easy to slip on and easy to take off, but still provides great support, then one of our slip-on shoes will certainly do the trick. It's important to know that a slip-on style is not going to perform as well in higher performance activities.

MESH VS. LEATHER?

Mesh is a commonly used material in shoes and allows your foot to “breathe” a little more. A lot of the mesh materials we use in our shoes are the same materials used on many lightweight, performance, running, and walking shoes. Mesh keeps your foot a little cooler than leather would. However, mesh does not keep water out. If it is important that you keep your foot dry, then mesh would not be the best material. However, when wet, mesh will dry much more quickly than leather.

On the other hand, leather is a great material that has been used in shoes for centuries. Leather lasts longer, resists abrasion, and does a better job of keeping water out. However, once wet, leather can get heavy and can take a few days to completely dry out. Since we use top grade leathers in our shoes, it's important to properly maintain the leathers to preserve the rich, supple finish and performance.
