Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Shoe I bought the Carrera and the Chicane two years ago when heel pain flared up and stopped me from doing a lot of things. The Chicane was quickly my favorite and I wore them to pieces (next time I'm going to add the weather sealant BEFORE wearing them in the rain). I've been wearing the Carrera consistently since last summer (running and walking) and nearly daily for 6 months (work dress code changed). They are very comfortable and I look forward to wearing them. The lip above the heal digs into my ankle and cause blisters. I have to make sure to wear a sock that covers that area. The mesh is also starting to separate from the leather in several locations and the sole is nearly smooth. It feels like they wore out a bit quickly for the price, yet I've recommended them to everyone and I'm back here buying another pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly great, but not for my Morton’s neuroma I have a flat foot, Morton’s neuroma and I need extra padding/insoles that absorb shock to reduce impact on my spine (car crash problems). These are great for flat feet and the heel hug thing is so outstanding that I don’t need to add insoles. This is the only brand I can say that about. But every new pair aggravates my Morton’s neuroma until it’s well broken in. I am ordering the Quantum this time around to see if I have a different experience with that shoe. I use these for daily walks of 2-4 miles and weight training in the gym. These are still leaps ahead of all the other brands I have tried, and my husband loves the wide version of the Quantum. Thank you for a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely amazing!! I bought my first pair of Quantum Kuru's not too long ago and I am truly amazed at the comfort and quality. I mowed my yard yesterday and didn't want to get my Kurus dirty so I wore my old "top of the line shoes" and the pain in my feet at the end of the day was horrible. I put my Kuru's on to see if it would help with the pain and I was shocked by how much they helped and how quickly they helped. So today I have four different pairs of Kuru's in my shopping cart so I can cover all my different needs. If I'm not in bed, I will have on a pair of Kuru's so I don't have to go through that kind of pain again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kuru Carreras are amazing! I just received my fourth pair of Kurus and my second pair of Carreras. I have to tell you: I like the Quantums very much, but these Carreras are the absolute best. As soon as they go on, they hug my foot with the deep heel and comfortable arches. I have never worn athletic shoes which did not have to be "broken in." I just wish there were more color choices because I will want another pair next year. I am a believer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these Shoes! I love the Carreras! I just recently bought my third pair within a year's time. They are so much more comfortable than popular name brands sold in stores and have helped my plantar fasciitis and heel spur immensely! I don't use them for running but for walking and everyday wear. I thought that they were being discontinued and am happy to see that they are not; but please please come out with more fun colors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for work. I bought them for work, and I absolutely love them. I’m working long-standing shifts and my feet don’t hurt anymore. Great for nurses ❤️

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so... ok... This is my first pair of Kurus, ad so far they feel really good. I don't have heel problems, but arch support is critical for me. These shoes support my arches well. I'm still in the breaking-in period, so I'm sure they will even more comfortable in time. My only complaint is that they don't come in 11.5. After reading the size guide, I determined that size 11 would be slightly too small. My only choice was 12, which I suspected would be slightly too big. Sure enough, they are. I feel too much room in these. When I'm walking downhill, my feet shift off of the arch supports (which, as I mentioned, is the most important part for me). Other Kuru styles come in 11.5, so I don't understand why these don't. I bought them for an upcoming trip to Paris, so I didn't have time to send them back. I'll still buy Kurus, but only styles that come in the proper size from now on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wears out too soon This is the second pair of the Carrera shoes I've had. Love how they feel on my feet and have helped tremendously with my plantar fasciitis; however, I keep getting a hole in the mesh where it meets the leather. :-/

I wear a lift in my shoes, are the soles removable?

Asked by: JanetCNA
Absolutely! The insoles in our KURU shoes are definitely removable and can be replaced with other custom orthotics and/or lifts. Due to the anatomical shape of the KURUSOLE™, custom orthotics with a rounded heel fit best into the shoe. If your lift is squared off on the underside, then it may not fit very well into our deep heel cup since the heel of our shoes is rounded like your foot. I hope this information was helpful!

I have an Arizona brace on one foot and an orthodox on other. I'm having a terrible time finding sneakers. Do they have removable inner soles
Asked by: Anonymous
Great question! The insoles in our KURU shoes are definitely removable and can accommodate custom orthotics/insoles/braces. Due to the anatomical shape of the KURUSOLE heel cup, custom orthotics with a rounded heel fit best into the shoe. If the custom orthotic is squared off on the underside, then it may not fit very well into our deep heel cup since the heel of our shoes is rounded like your foot. Most customers have found that the KURUSOLE midsole is stable and comfortable enough that they don't need to wear their custom orthotics.

Are they slip resistant
Asked by: Roxanna
The CARRERA shoes are not slip resistant or anti-slip, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. The only slip resistant or anti-slip KURU shoe that we currently offer is the KINETIC shoe style.

Hello, i'm looking to buy my 1st pair of RUNNING Kuru shoes. I don't have PF but my heels do hurt after running. What is the best shoe for running?
Asked by: Dulce L.
We appreciate your interest in our KURU shoes! The best shoe that we have for running would be the CARRERA running shoe. You can check them out by using the following link: https://www.kurufootwear.com/carrera-womens.html?color=TangerineOrange-Magenta-White A great alternative would be the QUANTUM shoe, it is almost the same thing as the CARRERA but the QUANTUM has a broader and generous toe box for a relaxed fit. You can check them out by using the following link: https://www.kurufootwear.com/womens-quantum.html?color=UrbanConcrete-White-TopazBlue Please keep in mind that we do offer free shipping, exchanges, and returns. With that being said, you can always order a pair to try them on and if you get the wrong size or if it doesn't work out for you, you can return them to us free of charge within 45 days of purchase. They need to be in new condition to get full refund or exchange.
