Before you go, don’t miss out on this extraordinary review from our extensive collection of 32,000+ 5-star reviews! Uncover the reasons behind the rave about KURU and indulge in the ultimate comfort firsthand!

Great for flat feet! I get a lot of pain in my feet and ankles due to flat feet. I generally blast through walking shoes in 6-8 months but these have lasted me 15 months so far and don’t have much wear n tear besides needing to clean them. I expect them to last a long time still and they reduced my pain a lot. The dogs are happy I can walk more lol. I was worried about the price at first but it is totally worth it for the comfort and not having to replace 2x a year.”

    FAQs

    • What causes flat feet?

Flat feet may be inherited from parents, with weak arches noticeable when sitting but flattening when standing. Other factors include foot or ankle injuries, excess weight stressing the arches, arthritis, damage to the posterior tibial tendon, nervous system or muscle diseases, tarsal coalition causing abnormal foot bone fusion, long-term use weakening the supporting tendon in older age, and tendonitis from overuse.

    • What are the best shoes for flat feet?

There are so many shoes out there! If you’ve done a quick internet search for the best walking shoes for flat feet, you might be feeling overwhelmed by the results. The good news is that there are lots of options out there, so you’re more likely to find the perfect pair for you.

First and foremost, prioritize finding a shoe with good arch support. Flat feet need this extra support for proper shock absorption. Additionally, the best tennis shoes for flat feet will have plenty of cushioning in the midsole. Be sure to try the shoes on to make sure the fit and support are ideal for you.

    • What are the benefits of wearing shoes for flat feet?

Since flat feet lack a natural arch, a supportive shoe is crucial for relieving pain and preventing injuries. Wearing the best shoe for flat feet will ensure you have more comfortable days on your feet.

    • When buying flat feet shoes, what key factors should I consider?

The most important features to look for in walking shoes for flat feet are arch support, firm heel counters, and cushioned midsoles. Built-in arch support and a cushioned midsole will help compensate for the lack of natural arches. You may also consider shoes with removable insoles in case you will be using custom orthotic inserts.

Lastly, firm heel counters are essential in the best walking shoes for flat feet and overpronation since fallen arches often lead to the foot rolling inward. A firm heel counter will help keep the foot stable while walking or running.

    • What shoes should I avoid if I have flat feet?

Avoid shoes with little to no arch support, such as flip-flops and other shoes with flat soles. Since the best flat feet shoes have a wider width, you should also avoid shoes with a pointed or narrow toe box.

    • How often should I replace my shoes with flat feet?

The general rule is that you should replace your shoes every 300-500 miles, which is about 5-6 months of regular wear. Once you’ve found good shoes for flat feet, it’s important to replace them regularly so you always have the arch support and cushioning you need.
