Really comfortable!Review by Cindy(Posted on 4/27/12)I love Kuru and these are no exception! Yes, the opening is somewhat narrow so you have to kind of shimmy into them - but once they are on you've got a comfortable pair of shoes. Another bonus is you can just kick them off. Great arch support and plenty of toe room adds to the face that they are so darn cute! I'm into my second day of wearing these right out of the box without one bit of discomfort. Kuru is my favorite brand of shoes - this is my 4th pair and I'm sure I'm not done. |

Plantar Fasciitis relief!Review by Liz(Posted on 3/24/12)When I first tried these on, I was going to return them. They were hard to get on, and the heel was rubbing up and down on my heel. But I tried them on a few more times and decided to keep them. I am so glad I did. I was having a bad flare up of plantar fasciitis, and these shoes have helped immensely. Now that they're getting broken in, they are easier to put on, and I wear them around the house, to school, and for errands. This morning, for the first time in weeks, I stood up out of bed with no heel pain. The movement on the shoe on the back of my heel hasn't caused any rawness, and is subsiding as the shoe breaks in. Plus they're super cute in a sporty way. These shoes do run narrow, which luckily works for me, as my feet are on the narrow side of normal. Beware, the sole will make your carpeting look crazy, but it's worth it. |

Tight FitReview by Barbara(Posted on 11/23/10)While looking for shoes for plantar fascitis, I came upon a recommendation for Kuru shoes. I ordered the Slipstream because I wanted something casual, but not an athletic-type shoe. The description said the instep was tight, and they aren't kidding. The opening for your foot is very small. Although the Neoprene material does stretch somewhat, it was difficult to get my foot into the shoe. The arch and heel felt very supportive, but the top of the shoe just felt too tight to be comfortable, so I returned them. I've ordered the Kruz II instead and will see how those feel. |
