Divine!Review by Dominique(Posted on 2/16/12)I have plantar fasciitis, left foot, I am on my way to be ok since I discovered the famous Kuru shoes! I was a bit hesitating to order on line mostly for the size, but the size, I am a perfect size 6 and the shoes are really fitting me, perfect fit. I started to put them right away, walked with them and I am just amazed, I can walk without pain, I am not limping any more and I do not need my orthotic insoles, the shoe takes care of everything! Furthermore, I was a bit reluctant to order anything other than a black color but why on earth do we have to wear black!, so my orange shoes make a statement and I LOVE them! great shoe best suited for even pavementReview by C.A.(Posted on 1/28/12)If you trek around on uneven surfaces all day for work and have plantar's read on...I ordered these on recommendation of an associate who also works in the landscape industry and suffers from plantar's. It's hard to order shoes online when you have this condition but this was worth the risk. I wore these all last season and overall I was fairly pleased. They were comfortable and accommodated the punishment I put them through for about the first twelve weeks and then the support gave out around the ankles. As a result my feet would start to feel fatigue and the plantars would act up toward the end of the day. This particular style is probably best suited for an even terrain (no gravel, rocks, dips and swales in turf, etc.). So, Kuru here is my wish...please make a hiking boot version of your shoes that stabilizes the ankle even more than your shoes and can take the punishment of rocks, mulch, mud,water and so on. Based on what I have read on this site I will try the Chicane's this season. They seem to be more stable. Would have tried them last year but they were on infinite back order, which was frustrating. |

These shoes are the ULTIMATE WORKHORSE!Review by Sharon(Posted on 10/6/11)I've worn these shoes for about three years and I wear them primarily for gardening and heavy landscape work in my yard, I'm in them for pretty much the entire weekend, 8 months of the year. I was having issues with plantar fascia and doing yard work/gardening in old running shoes (I'm also a runner). I figured if I'm spending over a $100 on good running shoes that they would also work as yard shoes when it was time to buy a new pair of running shoes. WRONG! I decided to try a "good" pair of yard work shoes and see how much of a difference it would make. OMG! What a difference! My feet NEVER hurt again once I started doing yard work in these shoes. In fact, my plantar fascia was so much better that my feet didn't hurt anymore in my running shoes either. I recommend these shoes for anyone who works in landscaping, farming, gardening or any outdoor activity that requires heavy lifting/hauling or standing/walking on uneven ground surfaces. |

Love These Shoes!Review by Diane(Posted on 10/6/11)Love these shoes! I just got back from walking around the mall all day, and my heel doesn't bother me at all. My feet feel great. These are cute shoes and looked great with my jeans. I ordered a size down from my usual shoe size of 8 to a 7 1/2 as my feet are narrow and the 8 slid up and down on the back of my foot. This is my first pair of Kuru shoes, and I just ordered another pair. These shoes do at first feel different, but you get used to them pretty quick. I would recommend these shoes! |

Brilliant shoesReview by Kerry(Posted on 3/23/11)I bought these shoes last November. I am in Australia and the communication was terrific. They arrived, fitted perfectly. They were the only shoes that I took to Nepal with me and I wore them every day - they were brilliant. All day every day they were worn and I did not even have to think about my feet aching. So comfortable. Look fabulous (different to lots of light hikers). I am delighted with them and would recommend them highly as a travel shoe. |
