No Pain, All Gain
I've suffered from PF for 20 years, off and on, depending on how good I am an wearing the right kind of shoes. I survived for years on the "D" brand as a mom to a young child and they worked great until they discontinued my favorite flat sole design (not the clogs). I tried many other brands, but they never lasted or solved the pain on a long-term basis. A desperate web search for PF friendly shows brought me to Kuru and my first pair of Chicane in Riveter Black. Wow.
Despite the fact that one of the shoe laces was twice as long as the other (!?), the shoe has completely changed my life! They are somewhat stylish with a deceptively slim profile. The comfort of these shoes blew me away. The laces tighten perfectly along the top of the shoe so they are snug without suffocating the foot and the toes have a generous toe box for a good wiggle when needed. I have worn them for 8 hours, walking 10-12k steps, and my feet have never felt better. The only time I had pain was when I wore socks with a more open weave and they wore into my soles but that's my bad, not the shoes. My musculature was still pain-free from the support.
And the best part: Absolutely NO pain in my heals or arches. I no longer walk like a 95-year-old granny at night and in the morning, and the nail-in-the-heel feeling is gone 24/7. Thank you, Kuru, for a life-saving shoe. Between Kuru and Pokémon Go, I'm walking miles more than I ever have before.
