WORLD'S MOST ANATOMICAL
Active Footwear
What the Doctors Say I've developed plantar fasciitis and my Kuru's are by far the most comfortable shoe as I deal with this condition. I've tried gel insoles with my other shoes, but nothing matches the Kuru's for comfort. Kuru is the #1 shoe that has helped my Plantar Fasciitis.”Dr. Roger Sheffield |
The Kuru Cirque is the best crossover sneaker on the market. The versatile design performs flawlessly in a variety of applications. Featuring the MOST ANATOMICAL midsole available-KuruSole™ Technology. This technology offers orthotic quality support via the innovative HeelKradl™ insert. The lightweight, breathable mesh toe and side panels allow heat to escape making this the ideal shoe for warmer weather. Imagine the comfort and breathability of a running shoe; the stability and support of a walking shoe; and the traction of a hiker. Whether you're looking for your ideal travel companion to the jungles of Costa Rica, or for a trusty pair of walking shoes to tour Europe, the Cirque will deliver.
I've got narrow feet and have had bouts of plantars [fasciitis] in the past. Very comfortable out of the box, and true to size. After wearing them for a week, I have no hesitation in saying they will be the perfect travel shoe for me, stylish enough for the cafes in Paris and rugged enough for walking the trails of the Swiss Alps. FIT NOTES: True to size.

I just spent a few days wandering the desert in Utah with Kuru's Cirque sneakers underfoot. First off, they fit perfect right out of the box-which is rare for my fickle feet. The honeycomb mesh construction is highly breathable, but burly enough for collecting firewood and scrambling on slickrock. Great traction and support, offers running shoe performance.

From wet granite to sandy beaches, from the trail to my bike commute, from crag to town, this shoe did it all. I took this shoe on ski mountaineering trips, climbing, backpacking and it held up nice and comfortable. The outsole stuck to polished granite even in a down pour with 35+lbs on my back in the Sierras. They are light weight, yet after months of abuse they seam to be holding up well. And I am amazed at how many people tell me how cool the shoe looks. And when I commute on my bike in the CA heat the mesh is nice as it cools off my toes! It's about time someone make an outdoor shoe that is comfortable and stylish.

I've been wearing my Cirques now nearly every day for the past year. I'm an avid rock climber and these shoes have run the gamut of climbing, hiking, and trail running. They've been with me up Yosemite approaches and down rocky/sandy descents. They've trudged through winter slush/snow in the Midwest, up and down sandy trails in Utah's desert, hiked / climbed in the high Sierras, mucked through muddy Hawaiian Volcano trails, and ran like mad 2 miles down the rocky creek bed trails to get back to the car before we got ticketed at Red Rocks. The Cirques have managed these adventures with style, ease, and *most* of all, comfort. All in all, Kurus rock. Get some; have fun.

I have difficult to fit feet, narrow at the back and extra-wide at the front, much like Donald Duck’s. For years, I had to have my dress shoes built and most casual shoes have to have inserts of some type in them. The Kuru’s, though, are some of the most comfortable casual shoes that I’ve had in years and were perfect right out of the box. I put them on and immediately left for a weekend in New Orleans with lots of walking and never missed a beat. They’ve become what I wear around the office unless I have to put on a suit.

At work, I stand in dress shoes all day long. It's horrible. My feet kill even before lunch. After working a half day, I quickly put on my Kurus and went about all the errands I had. It was my first half day of wearing them and my feet feel great, even after a half day of standing in shoes that make my feet hurt.

I've owned a pair of Cirques for over two months now, and wear them almost every day. Each morning I slip them on, I'm surprised and impressed by the overall feel and comfort of the shoe. It seems they improve with use. With an educational background that includes degrees in sports medicine, physical education and kinesiology, I've spent a lifetime in and around active lifestyle footwear. The Kuru Cirque, in my opinion, is the most comfortable all-purpose casual I've ever owned. My compliments to the R&D team.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I can wear them all day and beat them up and they still hold up great. You won't regret buying a pair, and you may find you want to wear them more than you originally expected...

I was so happy when I first got these shoes, but then I was bummed because they did not fit. I wear a 9.5 in New Balance, but a 9 for the Cirques. But, it was really easy to request the RN, and the exchange was completely free because they sent me a pritable shipping label. Just remember to try them out on carpet so they aren't scuffed if you might want to return them. I wore them first on a trip to Georgetown in D.C. and they worked great. Unfortunately, the right one has developed a squeak, so I am not sure if it is something wrong with the shoe or the way I walk. I think I will be able to deal with it and they are still very comfortable. I love that you can register your product and have Kuru donate to a charity of your choice. I helped to provide clean water by buying these shoes. Despite the squeak, I love these shoes.
